 Contest Directions:
The final episode of The Sopranos aired by HBO this Sunday ended with blank silence, and left millions of viewers forever wondering what happened next. There's a buzz that the real ending will only be available in the Sopranos final DVD. Right after the final episode airing thousands of angry viewers crashed the HBO website, and many intend to cancel their HBO subscription.
As a tribute to The Sopranos, let's photoshop them in any possible way. Immortalize Sopranos characters in paintings and art, show what the real ending could be, design collector's edition DVD set, or show how the series could be carried of with a change of cast crew. Perhaps even show how Soprano characters could be making a living now. These are just some ideas.

| This contest is fueled by the following news: |
| | Over 14 million viewers watched the final series of Sopranos. It's
time to recall some facts and characters of the famous series.
Originally The Sopranos series were planned for FOX TV in the
mid-1990s, but the project was never launched then.
Tony Sirico has agreed to play in The Sopranos
only on condition that his character Paulie
Gualtieri will not be a "rat".
In the eighth episode of the first
season Christopher Moltisante
shot a bakery clerk shot in the leg, as he thought the clerk did not
give him enough respect.
The actor himself got shot in the leg in the "Goodfellas" movie
by a man played by Joe Pesci, for the same reason.
HBO feared that the title of the series might give
public the impression that it was about music. So it was decided to
add a gun to the title logo.
Alterbative titles were considered, such as
"Made in New Jersey."
Lorraine Bracco who plays a doctor originally planned to play
the wife of Tony Soprano. But Bracco refused because she once
already played a gangster's wife in the "Goodfellas."
The first season of The Sopranos was nominated for Emmy Awards
in 16 categories, more than any other shows. As a result, the series
received won awards in four
categories.
HBO received 695,000 new subscribers after the second season
premiere.
Each series cost approximately 2 million dollars to make.
This is one of the most
expensive shows on television.
In episode No. 17 (Commendatori) Tony and his company goes to
Italy for business. When Poly dines at the cafe, he notices a man and starts talking to him in Italian.
But the man turns away and ignores him. This man is a series
creator David Chase.
Originally, Chase had planned to name the main character Tommy
Soprano. Later, the name was changed to Tony Soprano.
Despite
continuous positive feedback on his acting,
James Gandolfini is known for
his shyness to the press.
He
often refused to be interviewed and explains it like this : "I am an
actor and I am just doing my job.
You are not asking a truck driver about his work, are you?" |
