In this chop I was mainly trying out a skin texturing technique shown to me by Rainman, even though he made me work for it, . Although I'm sure I didn't use it quite the same way as he does, (not that skilled yet with it) I see the possibilities are endless. Thanx AZ, and Thanx all. (ps. I like the golden teeth bling idea Newsy, That's coming up next, .) Why don't we do a celebrity bling bling contest.

Looks good to me Funk and the audience approves, so that's the best clue that you're on top of the wave Sorry for the beat around the bush approach, but I don't really have set methods for effects, and I work at each source image differently. I tend to be rather chaotic, season to taste image chef, and work on pics without thinking of all the processes. Plus, I rather see artists build out their own styles and motifs by only pointing them to the fundamentals. I prefer this old school way verses the plug n' play, crank'em out, make clone art way. Since then, largely due to a lot of emails asking on how to do it, I sat down and thought up an easy methodical way. See here: Easy High Contrast Textured Skin Effect Note: This method doesn't work well with low-res or images with a lot of jpeg noise, so you would have to clean them up, use a texturizer, a texture layer, or add some grain first. That is so freaking coooool. Glad I can bring email your way AZ. I like your style of teaching, and I did learn more figuring it out mostly by myself. I'll check out your new method soon...

Nice work and congrats Funkwood. Interesting texture, love the expression and background. My only critique would be the eyes, I think if they were whiter it would make the image more authentic but maybe it's just because I like to keep things real. Much thanks to Rainman for the lesson and link.
