|  A surviving daughter of Pablo Picasso has advised a Manhattan art dealer who paid $145,00 for a drawing allegedly created by the late artist that the drawing is a fake. In turn, the art dealer has filed a $5 million lawsuit in the Supreme Court of New York (the lower, trial court in that state) against two other art dealers. One of the art dealers sued has been tied to fake artwork in the past. Chantal Park, an art dealer on the Upper East Side of New York City whose business is called Art History, Inc., claimed that in July of 2005 she paid to Charles Locke of Duluth, Georgia and to Biagio Cugini of Maynard, Massachusetts $145,000 for what proved to be fake piece. Cugini was a co-defendent in California in the mid-1980s in a case involving $600,00 and the fake sale of aft. In the case, in 1985, Cugini and an associate were charged with art forgery and fraud involving artists including Hans Hofmann, Jackson Pollock, and Willem de Kooning.
