| The General Motors Corp has announced that it plans to invest more than $3 billion in China over the course of the coming three years. This will include building new facilities, expanding manufacturing sites -- all a part of a joint venture with its Chinese partners. The automaker announced the expansion on Sunday. The investments will be funded by profits derived from GM's Chinese joint ventures. The plan is for GM and its partners to introduce about twenty new and upgraded products over the course of the coming three years, including luxury vehicles, which will be made in China for the most part. Indeed, several Cadillac models will be made in China. |
