| At a newly opened cemetery in Darlington, Australia, it really will be standing room only for the "residents." The owners of the cemetery have a goal of providing cheap and environmentally appropriate services. Thus, the deceased people buried at the cemetery will be interred standing up. Australia's Victoria government did approve the plan for the cemetery, which is about 125 miles from the Victorian capital city of Mebourne. In addition to being buried vertically, the corpses will be buried in body bags rather than caskets. The land on top will be used for animal grazing. The company is owned by Palacom. |
