| Friendship is a relationship between people, based on trust, mutual liking, common interests and hobbies. Mutual respect towards the opinions of a friend and also tolerance are obligatory but not basic features of friendship.
Multiple aspects
Sociology studies friendship as an institute, carrying out certain functions (history and anthropology can also be a part of their study). Social psychology studies real personal relations, arising in daily life. Ethics scrutinizes friendship as an important moral value.
Ferdinand Toennis identified two kinds of social structures: a community, based on direct emotional affinity and society, based on a rational account and division of labor. The first sociologist of friendship considered that, it is an embodiment of collegiality, characteristic for small groups with universal social connections in patriarchal conditions.
Zimmel considered that the modern person with a complicated inner world is compelled to hide more and therefore it is possible to speak about friendship from different sides “I”: sympathy can connect with someone, intellectual interests with someone else, religious feelings or general life experience. At the same time, the requirement for intimate friendships, according to Zimmel, arises only in antiquity, when there is demand for self-disclosure.
Features
Unlike blood relationships of group solidarity, this interpersonal relationship is individually-selective (with mutual affection towards participants).
The following are required for developing friendship:
Mutual sympathy (pleasant mutual dialogue);
Mutual understanding;
Openness;
Frankness, sincerity and unselfishness;
Confidentiality;
Active mutual aid;
Community of interests;
Value-orientation unity
A friendship which developed can turn into a superficial friendly relationship or even enmity. During the intimacy of friendship, its contrasting to business relationships is rather relative even though friendship distinguishes itself by its worthiness. Friendship differs from sexual and love-erotic feelings according to nature of motivation. Usually, absence of sexual inclination is characteristic for friendship. Some believe, that friendship, though subconsciously, is selfish, since as a whole, it appears to be favorable for all its participants.
Moreover, the breadth of friendship is defined by the social value of activity to which friends have devoted themselves; its functions vary during the course of the life of the individuals, reaching maximum intensity in youth and early maturity. During this period, friends meet very frequently and like to spend a large share of time in a friend’s company and in the future, a friendship starts to lose its uniqueness even though, for all the time, it remains as one of the most important factors to maintain the stability of a person.
The transition of child friendship into youth friendship is much earlier in girls than in boys since the demand for intimacy develops much early in girls.
The sea is part of the World Ocean, separated by land or elevation of the underwater relief. Some seas are part of other seas (for example the Aegean sea is part of the Mediterranean sea). The term is also used for naming very large lakes with bitter-salty water, which have no natural drain, such as the Caspian, Aral and Dead seas and also large artificial reservoirs, for example, the Ob Sea.
General information
With respect to the degree of isolation and features of a hydrological mode, seas are subdivided into 3 groups: inland seas (Mediterranean seas and semi-closed seas), marginal seas and inter-island seas. According to its geographical position, the Mediterranean Sea is sometimes divided into intercontinental seas and inland seas.
From a geological point of view, the modern seas are young formations: all of them were defined in outlines, close to modern, in the paleogene-neogene period, and finally formed in the anthropogene period. The deepest seas were formed in places of large faults in the earth crust (for example, the Mediterranean Sea). Small seas appeared during the flooding of marginal parts of continents by waters of the World Ocean either due to the sinking of the continent or due to an increase in the water levels in the ocean and usually found on continental shelves.
In 1978, the International Maritime Organization established World Maritime Day. This day is included in the system of the World and International days of the UNO.

Extraterrestrial seas:
Lunar seas are vast basaltic plains on the Moon, which early astronomers considered as seas because of their darker color (e.g.: Sea of Showers, Sea of Crises, Sea of Tranquility).
According to this analogy, the dark areas are called seas on Mercury and Mars.
Liquefied water, presumably, is available on the surface on some of the satellites of the planets, most likely, on Europe, Jupiter.
