Penalties:
Various fouls are punishable by advancing the ball to one side or the other by a certain number of yards; a down is usually replayed from the same attempt. In this case, the offensive team can get a new set of 4 attempts, either automatically or because the penalty moved the ball 10 yards or more. If the ball is shifted into the end zone due to a penalty, such a penalty is replaced with a penalty, with half the distance up to the end zone.
The referee signals in relation to the foul by dropping a yellow flag on the field. The team, against whom the foul is made, can accept or refuse the form penalty. Usually, the penalty is rejected if the guilty teams may benefit from the penalty (for example, the offensive team scored a touchdown but was observed offside during the down).
The most common fouls:
False start - the offensive player starts moving (apart from permitted reruns) before the snap after the team lined up for the down. The penalty is 5 yards for the offensive team.
Offside - the defense player is not on his side during the start of the down. The penalty is 5 yards for the defense team.
Illegal shift - while lining up before down, as is known, only one player can move. The penalty is awarded if more than one player moves.
Holding - the player held or pulled the opponent player, who is not in possession of the ball. The penalty is 10 yards for the guilty team.
Pass interference (interfering with the player, who did not have the ball in his possession or interfering with the player while catching the ball - as in the case of hockey - the offence or defence player disturbs the player of the opposite team while catching the forward pass without attempting to catch on his own. In the case of a foul by the offence, the penalty is 10 yards. If the defense team makes the same foul, then the ball is placed at the point of the foul. If the foul is committed in the end zone, then the ball is kept on the 1 yard mark.
Delay of Game - the offense team does not start another down in the allotted time for this. The penalty is 5 yards.
Individual fouls: Penalty is 15 yards.
Face mask - the player pulled by another player by holding the mask.
Roughing the passer / kicker - the defense player attacked the passer or kicker when the ball was not in his possession.
Unnecessary roughness - The players roughly attacks the rival player after completing the down, for example, when he was beyond the limits of the field.

Offense team:
The team, which starts the offense, is called the offense team. It has the ball in its possession and starts the down.
The offense team consists of a quarterback, linemen, backs and receivers.
The main function of the linemen is to block the defense player. Linemen line up in the offense line. The offense line includes the following players:
Center (C) - the main linemen: throws back the ball to the quarterback in the beginning of down.
Offensive guard - Two players, positioned on the left and right side of the center.
Offensive tackle - Positioned on both sides of the offense guards.
Tight end - the tight-end plays on the sides of the tackle. The tight-end, in contrast to other linemen, can receive the ball and therefore, performs the blocking and receiving role depending on the type of down.
Backs and receivers, predominantly, advance the ball forward. Backs, as a rule, receive the ball directly from the quarterback. Usually, the receivers receive the forward passes.
Wide receiver - the main task of the receiver is to receive the pass from the quarterback. For this, the receiver should have good speed and the ability to catch the ball in difficult situations. Receivers are usually positioned at the far edges on the line of attack.
Fullback - the player, who is behind the attack line (behind the quarterback). He can block, run with the ball and catch the short passes. During the running downs, his main task would often be to "clear the road" for tailbacks.
Tailback (TB) or halfback (CB) - the player, who is positioned behind all offense players with the task of carrying the ball forward during running downs. The tailback should be able to tightly hold the ball and find gaps in the defense and try to cross over by feigning the opponent players.
Quarterback (CAB) - the main player of the offense positioned directly behind the center and receives the ball from center in the beginning of a down. The quarterback is the main player of the team. He decides the type of down, gives passes, passes the ball to players for running downs and sometimes, he advances the ball forward.

President Obama will hold his second bipartisan Super Bowl party this weekend, his aides announced Friday morning.
It will be a much smaller affair than last year when more than 75 people gathered to watch the game at the White House theater. It's an interesting fact that no sitting president has ever attended a Super Bowl.
