At the 31st annual Annie Awards, Finding Nemo made a splash with a dozen nominations. The film by Disney and Pixar tells the tale of a lost clown fish. The nominations include best picture as well as best character animation, direction, effects animation, production design, music, writing and voice acting -- that nod going to Ellen DeGeneres for her portrayal of Dory. The Annie Awards are given annually by the International Animated Film Society. Awards are given in 22 categories. Awards are given for films, television, short subjects and even commercials.
