Not bad for the first try. I do like that you chose the white thread instead of black ones - for this photo it certainly works as a better color. I would suggest the inside threads to be the same color (white) as te outside ones, just for consistency. Also the inside puppet parts (in open mouth), and holes do not need to be completely black, as it takes away from reality. I am sure your next try will be a great entry.
