| This contest is fueled by the following news: |
| | The first two weeks of spring in the U.S. met Americans with unusually
cold temperatures for this season. In fact, snow and freezing weather made
April look a lot like Christmas. This Easter weekend was especially
cold which confused people about what closes and fashion to follow. If
we saw people wearing bonnets, frills, and sandals just weeks ago, now
we see Southwest and Midwest residents swapping their street wardrobe
for warm coats, socks, scarves and even hats. Such April fashion would
look appropriate on April 1st - All Fools Day, but certainly not for
the rest of April, which usually brings much warmer spring
temperatures and spring fashion.
Baseball fans have gone back to winter clothing and could be seen
covered up with blankets and using winter earmuffs. One may only be
left to wonder what weather and fashion will the rest of April bring
to the United States. |
