I like it, but those damn Amish people stole that porch chair from the house five doors down. They should give it back.

What I love about this entry, is that it looks closer to original house than any other entries in this contest. This is truly a renovation of the house we see on the source picture. Brilliantly done work, one of my favorites in this contest. My only criticism is the trees/leaves - which fit perfectly, but use low resolution source. Still I love this. Many small details added which take this from great entry to being an outstanding entry.

good adding of trees and landscaping. But i think if you just put a new doors and windows and roofs as what the theme said this will standout more. (just my own opinion). still nice concept.

The lighting on the tree doesn't quite match up...but it's a great effort otherwise.

This is really wonderful, excellent renovation, I love your trees and the soft colors. Here is my (minor) crit: Looking at direction of the strong sunlight on the trees, I think they should be casting a big shadow over the roof and front of house, and the house itself should have stronger shadows. A way around that would have been to use a less brightly lit tree source.

Hey ya know the Amish like doors and windows too. Ha Ha... just kidding. Actually, your composition is really good. I only have a small handful of things that I would say need changed; The bushes are distinctly more vibrant than the grass. The lower roof has lost all of its texture (it looks like plywood painted over with house paint). There are no doors or windows (with the exception of the one in the front). The perspective of the steps in front of the porch is all wrong. I'm not bashing your work at all - I'm just pointing out issues to help you grow as an artist.

YO. Thank you all so much for your comments - and help. This is far from perfect I know.. coulda used another 3 days actual. Do appreciate all your generous remarks tho - this was a real learning experience.. but one I really enjoyed. Honestly - I never nicked that chair.. found it on Google... So sorry there are not more entries on this challenge.. but can understand why. I was a bit bemused too - thought I would skip it.. but started playing around... and heyyyy... it's all fun after all. Thanks again... this was a magic challenge....

You're a phenomenal artist, and people like you push me to become a better artist myself. This isn't a competition about winning... it's a competition about learning. I've learned so much about design and photoshop techniques since I joined this site three days ago simply by watching what you do. Thanks for the inspiration. PS.
