Er what does fanny mean in the US. in UK it means a lady's private parts, not a word used in polite society . Like p u s s y which to us means a cat but means lady's private parts in the US.

Fanny is the rear here...or at least that's what I grew up thinking... and those little "packs" that buckle around the waist/hips were called fannypacks Oh and P u s s y means cat, and lady's private parts here..
