The rare offspring of a whale and a dolphin has given birth herself, to a female calf at a water life park in Hawaii. The mother is known as a wholpin. The baby's father is a dolphin. The baby has a blend of a dolphins light grey skin as well as some black coloring common of a false killer whale. The baby actually is very large compared to a pure bred dolphin. At the time of the baby's birth, she already was the size of a one year old pure bred dolphin. Wholpins have been reported in the wild.
