Contest Directions:  [ Sunday marked the end of the last-week's anti-poverty "Barely Legal" art exhibit in LA, which included a live elephant with a floral paint job. Even though the paint was composed of non-toxic bio-ingredients similar to the ones used in movie makeup, animal activists called it an 'animal abuse' and demanded that the elephant is cleaned immediately and sent back to the owner. They kept pressuring the exhibit organizers, interfered with the exhibit, and called the LA police until the exhibit organizers finally agreed to wash off the paint from the elephant. ]
Emotions aside, the female elephant was in many many movies, and is used to lots of makeup. And I'm not talking about Kirstie Alley here folks - animal activists protected her already. Exhibit organizers merely followed the old saying:
Give an elephant a good paint job - and get lots of friends.
Cross an elephant with a skunk - and get very few friends.
And I'm sure many guests praise them for doing the first part but not the second.
Last but not least, if someone should be happy about this elephant paint job, it's gotta be the Republicans. Because, by golly, in response Democrats will exhibit a painted ass (think Jimmy Carter).
I this contest you are asked to photoshop paint jobs on elephants. Paint jobs can be commercially oriented, or just any art paint jobs you like.
