Contest Directions: 
This Saturday will be the 540th birthday of Albrecht Durer - the most famous German painter and printmaker. He became famous in his twenties for his prints and paintings, which finally made him the greatest artist of the Renaissance in Northern Europe. Durer came from a family of eighteen children, his father was a goldsmith. The name "Durer" is derived from "Thurer" which means doormaker.
To celebrate the upcoming 540th birthday of the most famous German painter, photoshop any of Durer paintings or prints any way you wish. Some examples are: think about how his art would be different if he created it these days, would he be depicting celebrities, modern devices, or making advertisements and movie posters? These are just some ideas.
