Duke Snider dies at age 84.

"The Duke" was my favorite baseball player when I was growing up in New York. He played in the shadows of Mickey Mantle and Willie Mays, but to me, he was the best of the three. Always a gentleman, Duke will be missed. The corn rows are a reference to "Field Of Dreams."
