| | Donald Duck, often described as being both cantankerous and unlucky, celebrated his birthday at Disneyland Paris on Wednesday. He danced on stage as a true shower of confetti fell all about. Hundreds of well wishers sang "Happy Birthday" to the duck. There was also a parade down Main Street at the theme park. The parade included Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse and Daisy Duck. There was also a giant, pink cake with 70 candles burning on the top. Donald actually begin his career on June 9, 1934, appearing in "The Wise Little Hen." He has since appeared in hundreds of films.
