| | In Moorhead, South Dakota, two stolen puppies have turned up safe ... but with their fur dyed purple. Sheila Hoffart now faces two counts of theft for stealing the animals from a pet store. She said she stole the dogs and colored their fur purple to make them more unique. She said it is not the first time that she has died the fur of animals. Some time ago, she dyed the fur of two cats red. Hoffart attempted to sell at least one of the stolen dogs.

A greyhound by the name of Bang jumped 9.14m in length, while chasing a hare in Brecon-Lodge, Gloucester, Great Britain, in 1849. It jumped through the fence of a height of 1.4m and landed on a road, and injured its leg.
Most famous rescuer dog:
The St. Bernard Barry is the most famous rescuer of all time. During its 12 year career in the Swiss Alps Barry rescued more than 40 lives. People rescued by it included a semi-frozen boy, lying under a snow avalanche near to his dead mother. He lay flat on the body of the boy so as to warm him, and licked his face until the child became conscious. Then he brought him to the nearest village. The most described demonstration of dogs. 1086 dogs took part in the Parade of mongrels, which was held on the 5th of October 1996 in Wickham Park, Manchester, Connecticut, USA. They walked almost 5 km.

In 1967, when a policeman was interrogating two suspects involved in keeping drugs in the Midlands, Great Britain, the dogs Lady and Fight, trained in the search for drugs, unexpectedly laid down in front of the suspects, and then grew drowsy. They woke up and seized the foot of their trainer then when he was trying to arrest one of the suspects by putting-on handcuffs.

Donna, a guide-dog for the deaf, owned by John Hogan of Pirmont Point, Australia completed 10 years in service. Until then it served for 8 years in New Zealand. Donna was the first dog to get a license for guiding the deaf after this law was passed in Australia in the year 1985.
