Meant to say Thanks- for serving- Nam, 2/68-6/71. That was kind comment. Not in a mad rush so I'll reply to this proper now. Renegade, Not only is it every American's duty, but it is an honor to support our servicemen and women. Anybody wants to argue that opinion is inviting me and a 2 x 4 to come calling, that is not just inflated talk, that is a stone cold promise. We try to dedicate a lot of our radio shows to different units that have fired out from Ca. And we've even hosted some parties for the troops which we broadcast live. Their buddies can tune in to the music and video if they can get to a puter over there and chat in real time. It's a blast for everybody. I'm currently trying to put a show together for a friend of mine's son that fired off on a second tour. We're going to pull his GF and friends into the studio if we can get it all organized. http://www.usveteransmatter.org/ Is a group we support.

Nice chop and Kudos to you Hit for all the work you are doing. There may be some who don't support this (these) wars, but I don't think anyone would ever argue supporting the men and women who serve. Vietnam was a horrific time in this country. I had two friends who died there and I still look back in amazement at those who shunned our troops when they returned. Let's pray that people who would blame a war on those who served no longer exist in this country.

Thanks MUD, Yeah. well said. I sure don't don't support much of the idiotic reasoning behind 99% of wars fought, but I sure support the people that are willing to stand the line for my country, ill advised or righteous. Nam was a nightmare of gray zones framed in the blood of dead heroes some of which I called friend, as well. Heheheh sorry hidden author, sort of turned this thread into a soapbox hahahaha. Did I mention that this is a splendid chop.

Our son recently enlisted in the Army National Guard reserves, by the way. He is scheduled for six month training to start in Oct (originally was supposed to be April but that got delayed). It's okay to hijack the thread - it was for a noble cause, after all.
