Maybe. bump the saturation on his face a bit so he becomes more prominent than the background. And tilt the Hue toward Red Light like would be a reflection of the background lighting. Take Care

Me finds this nicely disturbing. I like it the way it is. Whatever you do with the chop though, don't touch the fly.

Thank you. I thought it was substantially gross and free of technical errors to submit in this finished form. My policy is; "Change the project if you agree with an individual's opinion. Absolutely change it if several say the same thing." I did adjust the contrast a little.

As you suggested I recontrasted and revalued to red shift and resubmitted. After some observation and consideration I concluded I don't like the red and shifted yellow. So far what I see is simply your opinion of preference as opposed to mine and not actually technical issues. I could have made it all blue as a preference and it would still not change anything but oppinion. Technically this chop took a bucket load of hours with revisions and all and as it stands, its finished. As I consider critiques to be founded purely on technical errors or omissions I don't wish to give a chop of this magnitude any more "Kiss of Death Commentary" to distract or otherwise influence voters as to whether it could have been this, or it could have been that. It is what it is, submitted to entertain to the best of my current ability. Thanks for your input, Tracy.

NP, Tracy. Your opinion is valued even if it differs slightly from mine. The cool thing that came out of your comment was I went with the suggestion and tried to push the chop to different RGB and ran a few Plugins over the piece as well as contrast. The real snag on adjusting this chop was the active files were dumped and I had to try to adjust in JPG form. That worked well on Cheney but the background lost integrity. You have probably experienced that yourself and at the point it starts to get into the area of compromise. So I pulled back masked out the face again and added a yellow gold value to try to get a bit closer to the warm side of red as you suggested.

I Really didn't think this was You. Hit. With the Dramatic Detail and the push toward a yellow greenish look. I would have guessed Funkwood. Great Job. I guessed the other 2 right.

Cool, I finally managed to stay somewhat annonomous. Now I'll elaborate a bit more on this one and the color dilema. Initially my chop was way into the red values. AZ being the speed chopper he is, finished and entered before me and his was red as well. And that gave me a problem of looking like a copycat or something. We were obviously thinking along the same lines and I said, chit, I can't enter this over the top of his. I kept the red background of the fractal source and pulled way back on the fire sources, pretty much just leaving the faintset evidence. Then I went back into the facial layers and pushed skin tones back to a more natural, pale dead. Fortunately I still had it all saved as a PSF so was able to modify the numerous elements out of red shift. A bit dissapointed, I submitted the chop in that state. I was already a bit ticked that I had to work the chop considerably more than intended, but none the less satisfied that it still worked pretty well considering the compromise. Then you commented. Hahahahahahah I wanted to reply, I know, I know, been there and done that..... But at that point I was in no mood to explain and a bit concerned for the survival of the chop as it stood and concerned about drawing attention to flaws and "could have dones". You almost had me talked into going back to the original red values when I though better about it and tried some gold/yellow adjustments. It warmed it up and I actually liked it considerably better than the red or pale tones. I couldn't add much contrast though, it was already pushed pretty close to max before shadow saturation ruined it. Anyway, It turned out very well in the end in spite of the craziness I am glad you and The voters liked it enough to vote it so high. At one point around lunch it had like a 9.2 rating and I was amazed. Highest any chop I have done has ever gone. So there you go, a little behind the scenes vignette I try to not walk on the backs of AZ, Funk or any other choppers with signature styles and color though I admit, Funkwood and I do love green hahahahahaaha But I equally lean towards blue. Red and yellows are great and works for me. I was mainly entranced by the mondo bizarro Cheney with the snake, scorpion, flies and eroding clothes. Plus, nice touch on the little characters.

Rhetoric. Oh how thee stabs at my very soul. Hahahahaha I'll have you know ever letter of what I write is a pearl, every word a star to light the darkness and every sentence a symphony. and if you believe that.... I got you to thank for the plugin advices, Funkwood. I'm just starting to use them and having a blast. I still love rudimentary chopping for the challange but some of these effects are a riot and as I feared, I can't resist using them hahahahahaha Thanks AZ, I searched under the refrigerator and found the accouterments to stick on Cheney. I entertained the idea of a shotgun blasted zombie face to his rear but... enuf was enuf
