| | Demi Moore (born Demetria Gene) was born on November 11, 1962 in Roswell, New Mexico. She grew up in “unhappy and unsuccessful” family. Moore’s parents (mother and step-father) were alcoholics and frequently changed place of residence. At the age of 16, Moore dropped out of school to pursue a career in modeling agency. When friend and actress Nastassja Kinski persuaded, Moore decided to become an actress.
Career: One of her widely acclaimed roles was in television serial “General Hospital” (1982—1983). At this time, she became a drug addict (cocaine). Moore joined a drug and alcohol recovery program and emerged clean in 1985 while shooting for the film “ St.Elmo’s Fire”. Director of the film “St.Elma’s Fire” Mr. Joel Shumacher persuaded Moore to join the rehabilitation program.

Personal life: Moore married singer Freddy Moore in 1980 when she was eighteen. In 1987, she married actor Bruce Willis and in 2005 – she married comedian Ashton Kutcher, who is 16 yrs younger to Moore. In September 2007, actress legally changed her last name to Kutcher.
