This contest is fueled by the following news:

A couple of Cubans who at one time tried to float a vintage car to the United states are trying it all over again. Marciel Basanta Lopez and Luis Gras Rodriguez now have been spotted piloting a 1950s car converted to a boat towards the United States and its shores. The unwritten policy of the U.S. is to allow Cuban nationals who make it to the U.S. shoreline to stay in the country. Those who are caught midway and at sea are sent back to Cuba.

Carlos Idjit lived up to his name when he stole a plane to escape from Cuba and didn't notice the keys were still in the ignition.
