          I'm a beer-a-holic! I hate crocs!

        • I love this one. I love the tight close-up.
If I were going to be really, REALLY nit-picky, I'd wonder why the girl and the base are one solid color, but there is a line between the croc and the base where the colors don't match. They'd have been painted at the same time, wouldn't they?
        • I think it's fixed because I see colors perfectly match. Nice
        • Nothing like a little game of hide and seek - Everglades style!

I think the gator should be within the black border of the sign though.

Why did the crock cross the road?

          Cause chickens are tasty.
        • The new sign seemed like a good idea to the folks at PETA. However, for some reason the ducks failed to heed the warning.

I agree, shouldn't be too hard to fix.

        • This is a clever idea that could be made better fairly easily. The sign could be cut out a little more closely - some of the old background is still around it. The yellow background behind the text is a little too perfect, and the text is too sharp and too black. If you look at the black border, you'll see that it is lighter than the new text, and also a little blurred. I really like the idea, though -- and, as a lawyer, recommend that all of you always read the fine print.
        • Real Funny idea !

I would also agree with everything jk55092 wrote, excellent advice.
        • Afraid to approach the low hanging spanish moss too closely, poor Timmy didn't get a chance to read the fine print. May he rest in peace.
        • Agree with the above, would be better to have sign bigger and clear even if it means losing some of the background. A lurking croc would be good too.

This contest is fueled by the following news: The theft and removal of a crocodile warning sign that had been posted at the Glen Isla landing near Proserpine has sparked fears regarding public safety. Queensland Parks and Wildlife Service ranger Peter Sykes said that the familar yellow warning signs were an important part of the agency's "croc-wise" public awareness campaign -- a campaign designed to keep people safe when using the waterways for recreational purposes. Shortly after the sign disappeared, tourists entered the river for a swim, having no idea that crocodiles were to be found nearby. The theft of the sign is described as a selfish and dangerous act. The signs are specially made and cannot be replaced easily.
