She was originally auditioned for the role of Rachel Green, but she was instead cast as the character Monica Geller. "Friends" became a mega successful sitcom which ran for 10 episodes from 1994 till 2004. Guinness Book of Records lists Cox as one of the highest paid sitcom actors (along with her co-stars) with $1 million-per-episode paycheck in the last season of "Friends".
