American actress Courtney Cox has celebrated her 45th birthday this Monday. Cox is best known for her role of Monica Geller on the sitcom Friends. She was originally auditioned for the role of Rachel Green, but she was instead cast as the character Monica Geller. "Friends" became a mega successful sitcom which ran for 10 episodes from 1994 till 2004. Guinness Book of Records lists Cox as one of the highest paid sitcom actors (along with her co-stars) with $1 million-per-episode paycheck in the last season of "Friends".
