While he played baseball, it was said that Pete Rose never gave up an inch. Now as a 62 year old man, Pete Rose desperately continues to try and get reinstated to baseball. He gave up lying about his gambling and hopes that public opinion will warm up to him as a result. Rose spent 14 years denying charges regarding to gambling. He apparently has bet on baseball. He did tell ABC News that it was his mistake for not coming clean about gambling on baseball many, many years ago. He says he has a gambling addiction.
