So should we, or should we not, when human cloning becomes possible, as it will soon, clone Condi Rice. I am for "YES" clone her. Why. Well she is such an exceptional political leader and it seems a shame and a betrayal of future generations for us to decide to deny them the benefit of her leadership. All the good she has done - ended the Cold War, freed all of Europe, helped the Middle East start out on course to democracy etc. - better to have that defended and enhanced in future rather than put it all at risk. Now, we could clone lots of Condis - like make 100s or 1000s of Condis. Why. Well I think it was Esquire magazine readers voted Condi the woman they'd most like to take to dinner. Now, if there were many Condis in the future, then maybe more men COULD take one of the Condis to dinner - and maybe marry her. If, sadly, Condi dies before human cloning is possible then we can fast-freeze her body and preserve the DNA for when cloning becomes possible. Or vote "No" and leave future generations to wonder why we were so selfish as to keep Condi to ourselves. - Peter Dow, Owner, Rice for President Yahoo Group
