ISDN
A system entailed for increasing the quality of a telephone connection and permitting simultaneously the sending of data while a conversation goes on through one and the same line. It has two logical links for transmission of each 64kbt/s and which can be used for conversation and data transmission by choice, and also a signaling link of 16kb through which the service and control data is transmitted. If to use both channels for data transmission, the speed works out to be 128kbt/s or approximately 4 times more than the speed of a usual modem.
Wireless communication system:
The wireless communication system is meant for providing a user with connection at any location. It consists of a large number of base stations linked with each other by a central circuit exchange and cellular telephones.
