We will be doing different types of contests in the Apprentice Contests. Be sure to check your comments for critiques. You can edit your image trying the different suggestions and maybe improve your image. Anyone with less than 5 gold trophies of any type on their desk is welcome to participate.
I learned a lot by doing this one. I never tried to create rain before, so this was fun! I was inspired by a previous contest to create snowy art. Maybe next time I'll do snow... hmm...
Source files: car, sky (hit return at address line, to view sky image, it's protected from cross-linking) and umbrella... Oh! and rain (on the lense). The other rain was made by noise and motion blurring, with select masking.
Let me know if this helps you at all with your chopping Or, if you have any suggestions for me, please comment! Thanks!
This altered image (in its Photoshop format) consists of 3 layers with minimal filters. Balloon, Original Photograph, and Wind. Filters: Blur (Background). On the sky layer I used the opacity tool to overlay a sky image over the original to show depth and hint of wind.
