This contest is fueled by the following news:

"Fashion Underground," an exhibition of accessories inspired by the subway, drew the fashion pack to Grand Central Station's Vanderbilt Hall. The event was sponsored by CFDA and the MTA. The fashion accessories are designed to honor the NYC subway system's 100th anniversary. The exhibit will include the work for nine famous designers. The designers drew their inspiration from the mosaics in subway stations, old tokens and the very people who use the subway system in the Big Apple. By way of an example, a pair of Kenneth Cole boots includes a slot into which you can put a MetroCard.
