| | Cindy Sheehan, a fallen soldier's mother, announced Thursday that she would maintain the anti-war vigil she started three weeks earlier and will not stop when protesters pack up their camp next week. She is camped out in front of President Bush's ranch. She will leave the ranch area on August 31st and begin a bus tour that will end in Washington, D.C., on September 24th. At that time, the group will conduct a 24 hour vigil. Sheehan remarked that she is not alone in her efforts. She said there are many people standing behind her protests, including thousands of military families. |
