This contest is fueled by the following news: A cigarette is a small paper tube (roll); frequently a filter is attached. This roll is filled with tobacco and smoked. Most of the paper used for producing cigarettes is made of linen or linen fiber. It contains 20 30% calcium carbonate which has a whitening effect. For speeding up the burning of tobacco, frequently substances that quicken burning are added. Without these additives, tobacco burns with difficulty, especially in the absence of a forced draft (smoker dragging). Usually cigarettes are sold in pre-rolled packs of 20s. One sixth of the world population smoke cigarettes. Cigarettes vary in hardness (depending on the content of nicotin and tar per cigarette) and in taste (standard, aromatised, mint cigarettes). Federal law prohibits the sale of tobacco items to persons under legal age. As per information from Interfax, one American tried to stop smoking for many years and in despair cut off his right wrist which brought the cigarette to his mouth. A thoughtless action since the cigarette can be held in the left hand also and the lust to smoke is not in the hand but in the brain. Luckily, doctors succeeded in fixing the wrist back in its place. Facts: 70% of men in the United States smoke. 30 47% boys and 25 32% girls of higher classes in large cities cannot live without a cigarette. Annually 25 billion cigarettes are smoked in India. The American smoker who smokes one pack of premium class cigarettes spends over $1000 annually! This means that over a period of 10 years one smokes the worth of a new car. China has 20% of the world population and 25% of total smokers. Here more cigarettes are produced as compared to any other country. As per the predictions of scientists, by 2025, more than 2 million Chinese shall die due to diseases caused by cigarette smoking. Vitamin C is dangerous for smokers. This was established by Australian scientists. During smoking, along with other dangerous substances, the heavy metal cadmium gets accumulated in the body which when combined with the non-hazardous Vitamin C provokes the formation of cancer cells. In Los-Angeles on a Santa Monica Street, a display is set up which counts the number of people who passed away due to their smoking habit. Are you sure that you want to go down in history this way?
