The bouquet is a little too light, I think - it almost looks like it's got an internal light source. I think a masked curves adjustment to tone down the highlights would work well.

A lot of it goes on in the UK I am afraid. If the brides run away they get killed in so called honour killings. Usual method is to set them on fire.
