Great composition, but I'd add some shadows from the fighters onto chickens

I guess a shadow can show up on a chicken if you make it dark enough.

I like it a lot. Very good work. A swell job of adjusting the shadows to bring out detail and toning down the highlights on the two combatants to fit the rest of the image well and make it all come together. I really love how this image and other entries are so color saturated (using curves., RGB. and / or LAB modes. Anybody care to point me toward some tutorials. I've been 'messing' around with a little bit of positive results but nothing that approaches this.). I always wondered how you saddle a chicken. Ride 'em Chicken Boy.

I just used contrast and saturation levels and a brush filter (subtly). the real fun was painting in the knights feet.
