| Alain Robert, who is a climbing daredevil best known as the French Spiderman, ended up defying strong winds and heavy rain when he climbed the world's tallest skyscraper. Robert scaled Taipei 101, which is located in the Taiwan capital city, on Saturday. He was clad in a rain jacket, tights and climbing shoes. He made his may up ropes that will be hung from the sides of the 101 story and 1,667 foot office tower complex. He believes that the adventure will take about four hours from start to finish. He described the proposed climb as a very big moment. He said his muscles were painful as he rode down the tower's elevators, which are the fastest elevators in the world at the present time. |
