The globe trotting performer will appear beginning this week on 20 AirTran Airways jets to market the start of satellite radio at each of the passenger's seats on the planes. No details of the arrangement with the 57 year old singer have been released. John does have a home in Atlanta, Georgia, and usually commands millions of dollars for endorsements of this nature. AirTran has said that it plans to give $50,000 to the Elton John AIDS Foundation. |
