Just figuring out how the thieves were able to make off with a painting as long as a sport utility vehicle has been tough enough, but police are finding clues even harder to come by. The 117-year-old 10-by-14-foot Russian painting titled "Maritza", the first major art theft to be reported in Portland since 2000, was valued at $80,000 but was not insured.
