An online casino operation now has a piece (so to speak) of Star Trek star William Shatner. Shatnersold his kidney to GoldenPalace.com and then donated the proceeds to a housing charity. He did remark that this takes organ donation to a new high ... and perhaps a new low. GoldenPalace.com is known for its collection of oddities, including a partially eaten cheese sandwich that contains an image of the Virgin Mary. The money paid for the kidney stone will for to Habitat for Humanity, a charity that builds homes for needy families.
