| The Father Christmas from the U.S. who lost his Santa Claus of the Year crown lashed out citing an organized campaign to prevent him from winning the title again. He claims his loss has damaged Santa morale. Seventy year olf Ron Horniblew was authorized by the Master Santa in Greeland and is part of the elite international Santa circuit that compete in the Santa Winter Games where up to fifty people compete for the world title. An accordionist from Estonia, Aare Rebban, won the crosn amid rumors of political viting and professional jealousy. The London Sunday Mail newspaper reported these allegations and contentions. At the games, in Swedish Lapland, Santas sled, raced reindeer and ate porridge (with a splash on the beard earning an instant disqualification), climb chimneys and deliver presents. All of this is undertaken under the gaze of judges.
