| Pope John Paul 11 is being recast as a superhero in a comic book. He will battle evil with an anti-devil cape and with special chastity pants. The comic is called "Incredible Popeman" and will be sold in Colombia. Colombian comic book artist Rodolfo Leon, who is a non-practicing Catholic, developed the comic book concept featuring the Pope as a superhero. Along with the cape and pants, the superhero version of the Supreme Pontiff will also wield a faith staff with a cross on the top. He will also carry along holy water and holy communion. |
