| Baseball player Bary Bonds managed to angrily sidestep questions about his possible role in the baseball steroid scandal. He dodged such questions when he arrived at spring training on Tuesday. He said he was tired but ready to begin his pursuit of Hank Aaron's home run record. This represented Bonds' first public statements since he appeared before a grand jury and his testimony leaked to the San Francisco Chronicle. The paper reported on Bonds' testimony in December.
