Historically, the Kentucky Derby was a see and be seen event. Today, for many people, it seems a little more like a horse race. At the Derby these days, most stars are not even in sight. With the renovation of Churchill Downs, more private venues were created for celebrities. Thus, there have been far fewer sightings for celebrity watchers. Nonetheless, actors, singers and public figures from all arenas were present at the event.
