Advanced Photoshop Pictures Contest - 11 image entries
Celebrities New Year s Resolutions
Contest Directions:  Psychologists recommend that people try setting more realistic New Year's resolutions, if they want to make them last. So this year, instead of "quit smoking" I'll try "smoke less",
instead of "get slim" I'll try "lose some weight",
and instead of "get a better girlfriend" I'll try "get laid at least once this year".
In this contest you are asked to photoshop New Year's resolutions (realistic or not) for celebrities ( or politicians) or your choice. Think of how celebrities visualize their New Year's resolutions. Note that resolutions can be good and bad. The text of a New Year's resolution can be placed on entry or in author's comments.

This contest is fueled by the following news:
People have been making and breaking New Year's resolutions for thousands of years. Indeed, the tradition of making New Year’s resolutions can be traced as far back as to 153 B.C. New Year’s resolutions are designed to give people the chance to make promises to themselves, usually to take some sort of step or steps to better their lives during the coming year. People make resolutions to do such things as to lose weight and make lifestyle changes as well as to drink less or quit smoking. They also make resolutions to do things like spend more time in family activities or to be on time. In addition, people who are looking to make a career change as well as other job seekers can follow a similar process, a process like making New Year’s resolutions, when it comes to their own job searches. They need to review their skills and knowledge, from both work and their personal lives. They will find abilities that they rather forget they had. They will find things that they need to brush up on a bit in advance of their job search. They may find that they have new abilities that really have yet to be tested. This introspection is not designed to cause a person to morn over past mistakes. It is not designed to cause a person to question their past decisions. Rather, it is designed to give a person the chance to learn from their mistakes. These mistakes can take two forms when it comes to careers: the wrong paths that were taken and opportunities that were missed along the way. The first step in beginning a new career search is to consider and learn from these mistakes of the past and revise your strategies to head into the future with a true and crisp vision of where you want to go and how to get there.
