| A woman in the United Kingdom has baked a life size model of her own body out of bread. Once baked, she watched an invited audience eat the baked good. Sharon Baker, a resident of Epsom, Surrey, used 24 eggs and the largest oven she could find to make the baked piece for an exhibition in London's recently revitalized Docklands. Baker maintained that the piece represented the never ending cycle of life. She stated that the piece reminds us that things get transformed and yer are never destroyed. Baker herself was wrapped in plaster in order to make the mold for the bread dough. |
