In Moorhead, South Dakota, two stolen puppies have turned up safe ... but with their fur dyed purple. Sheila Hoffart now faces two counts of theft for stealing the animals from a pet store. She said she stole the dogs and colored their fur purple to make them more unique. She said it is not the first time that she has died the fur of animals. Some time ago, she dyed the fur of two cats red. Hoffart attempted to sell at least one of the stolen dogs.
