I added a tiger head to head comparisons (links above), which makes it easy to see the same head was used.

Using some imagination and sort of tilting your head sideways, it's a merge alright. Very skillfully done.

Full view shows the tiger delicately blended into the painting. Try to go easier on the dark and contrast of the beast, however.
