| On Tuesday, the state of Connecticut joined a growing campaign to stamp out marijuana flavored candy that is found on store shelves with increasing regularity. The Attorney General of that state has said that he would sponsor a statewide ban on Pot Suckers lollipops. Five other states have banned or are considering banning the product which is distributed by ICUP. The distributor has said that this action has spurred the company to stop further sales of the candy on June 28th. Richard Blumenthal, the Connecticut Attorney General, said the candy was being sold in large malls throughout Connecticut with slogans that included "Every lick is like taking a hit. |
