Each year, hundreds of thousands of baby harp seals are slaughtered on the ice fields off Canada's east coast for their pelts. Over 95% of the seals killed during this hunt are just days or weeks old.In the past three years, nearly one million baby seals have been clubbed or shot to death.Recently,The European Union passed a strong ban on the trade in seal products—a move that spells the beginning of the end of Canada's cruel commercial seal hunt.This chop is just my wish that the baby seals could have fought back,against these cruel,brutal hunters,all along.
