| | Brett Lorenzo Favre, (born on October 10, 1969 in Gulfport, Mississippi) — American football player and was the starting quarterback for the "Green Bay Packers" group of National football league (NFL). Brett Favre was selected in second round of NFL Draft in 1991 by “Atlanta Falcons”. After one season with “Atlanta Falcons”, on 10th February, 1992, Favre was interchanged to “Green Bay Packers” after obtaining a choice in the first round of following Draft. In new group, he became starting quarterback for the first time in third game of 1992 season.
Favre is the unique player in NFL history winning thrice (1995-97) title of the most valuable player of season according to “Associated Press”. Favre helped “Packers” to appear twice in Super Bowls successively: for the first time having won over “New England Patriots” in Super Bowl XXXI and the second, losing to “Denver Broncos” in Super Bowl XXXII. Favre spent 17 seasons in NFL and started in each game of the group since the first start in 1992 for “Packers”. He is the record holder for most number of starts amongst quarterbacks (241, including 261play-offs) and for the most number of successful passes (5133). On 30th September, 2007, Favre broke the record of Dan Marino’s on touchdown pass in entire career (Favre stands at 422 touchdown pass) and just behind the Dan Marino for most number of pass attempts (8393) and pass yards in entire career (Favre – 58705 and 61631 for Dan Marino). With 151st victory in the career, Favre is the most winning quarterback in the history of NFL.

Brett Favre is married to Deanna Tynes. He married her on 14th July, 1996. The couple has two daughters — Brittany (born on February 6, 1989) and Breleigh (born on July 13, 1999).
