It is a creatively sinister use of that smile. Yes, the incongruent fuzziness of the head, and also that thin, light edge across the top of it, are obvious giveaways it's a paste-on.

I would lose the shading on the collar. Looks blurry and is in conflict with light source. Great concept and expression choice.

The only real problem with this is that chin and neck. Given the deep shadow on the shirt collar, the neck above it should be substantially darker.

Thanks for thte advice guys, having computer problems just now but trying to get sorted out. Im close to chopping the thing with an axe .
